Amy Sharp, EVP, Marketing & Operations

The consummate multitasker, Amy can usually be found looking for the nearest office phone to answer an intercom page while simultaneously texting and emailing. Perpetually in motion, Amy brings an enthusiasm and positive attitude that draws staff, clients and vendors to her. Her engaging style is complemented by a wealth of experience that encompasses a wide range of disciplines, from graphic design to creative direction, production and interactive campaigns.

While Amy can wear just about any hat in our agency, perhaps her most important role is that of agency mom. Amy has a knack for making people feel comfortable, which is probably why her office is never empty. Whether she is bringing in chicken biscuits as a Friday surprise, planning holiday presents for clients or founding her own nonprofit to encourage literacy, Amy approaches every interaction as an opportunity to make the world a little bit brighter. And her ability to make things happen renders her invaluable to both clients and our team.

30 seconds with Marya:

Where do you look to find inspiration?
Water. I work by the Mississippi River, there’s a pond in my backyard, and I take refuge every summer at my mother’s house in Florida that sits on a lake and is a short, 30 minute drive from the beach.

What’s your favorite thing about the work you do?
The collaboration. I am always in amazement of the outcome of many perspectives and ideas melding together into one cohesive piece. If you only knew the backstory of every creative product you see…

What’s something that people might be surprised to know about you?
My father insisted that I know how to mow the lawn, shoot a gun, change my own oil and flat tires, and know my way around an electrical circuit. I can get my hands dirty or mildly electrocuted.

Ralph Berry • EVP, Public Relations

Ralph describes his approach to public relations as “the art of storytelling,” and he is incredibly adept at finding an interesting story within or behind a brand. And while public-relations outreach tools have expanded over the years, the art of storytelling—of finding and articulating things that get people talking—has not. After 30 years in the business, Ralph would know.

He’s handled every aspect of public and media relations and corporate communications from both the client and agency sides—brand/identity launches, product sales, corporate acquisitions, crisis communications and more. His work in ongoing and issue-specific media relations has led to articles and placements in local, regional and national publications, and he has transformed ideas into memorable special events and generated valuable online conversations and engagements. His background in both journalism and theater means that he knows how to find the right angle—and deliver it in a compelling and memorable way that resonates with our clients’ target audiences.

30 seconds with Suzanne:

Where do you look to find inspiration?
In the details. Zooming in on and magnifying the smallest details can create monumental results. More often than not it is the little things that make the most impact. So yes, I sweat the small stuff.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
A French 75

What’s something that people might be surprised to know about you?
I once had to help Stevie Nicks find her own dressing room. Due to the enormous rollers in her hair – we’re talking the size of orange juice cans – she couldn’t look down to see the bright green tape marking the way. I took the Welsh Witch by the elbow and guided her safely to a candle and incense filled dressing room.
